Academic Excellence Eta continues to excel academically. In spring 2018, the chapter achieved a 3.21 GPA, ranking second among fraternities and above the IFC GPA of 3.06 and the all-men's GPA of 2.71. Leaders on Campus Sigs at Ole Miss continue to assume leadership roles within the chapter, on campus, and in the community. n Bennet Wifong '19 serves as the 2018 IFC president. n Jerret Estes '18 served as the 2017 IFC president. n Austin Powell '17 served as the 2017 Student Body president. n Two members serve as directors for Ole Miss Big Event, Mississippi's largest service event. Awards n 2017 Peterson Significant Chapter n 2017 Legion of Honor Award n 2018 Peterson Significant Chapter Greek Life at Ole Miss n Nearly 38% of students are Greek at Ole Miss with 7,500 affiliated students. n 4,182 community members are involved in another student organization. n Internships were held by 833 community members. n Greeks raised $1,076,748 for philanthropy and completed 71,544 community service hours for the 2017-18 academic year. Sigma Chi Fraternity University of Mississippi COLLEGIATE ACHIEVEMENTS, AWARDS, AND HONORS 2 O ur undergraduate Sigma Chi brothers excel in many areas, but they are especially proud of their leadership on campus, philan- thropic endeavors, academic achievements, and service to the community. Greek life at Ole Miss is experiencing unprecedented growth, and Eta's membership is growing alongside the community. Today, Eta has 198 members, many of whom are active leaders within the chapter, Ole Miss, and the Greek community.
