s we move into the fall and reflect on this past year, I would like to
take a moment to highlight a few aspects of this previous semester that
may be important to know.
We have completed the education process for our newest pledge class.
These young men are some of the most charismatic and intelligent new
members that I have seen yet. They truly make me more and more proud
to be a Phi. Looking forward, our new education chairman, Blake Horner,
shows great promise and has many ideas about education already being
put into place.
The spring semester and summer were great. Our accomplishments
included winning multiple sorority philanthropy events, and our continued
focus on academics led us to a second placement in fall and first in spring
for grades. Additionally, we hosted UM President Mun Choi and MU Vice
Chancellor Gary Ward for a meeting and dinner to discuss the future of
Greek life.
These past months have been eventful ones, but we are more excited than
ever to welcome a new class of 37 (and still growing) to the life of a MO
Alpha Phi.
Yours in the Bond,
Maxwell Keeter '19
