hat do lovely historical buildings have in common with
delicious ethnic food, exciting musical performances,
fascinating independent movies, a group of good-hearted
women, a Revolutionary War hero and some really, really
loud and fast cars?
ey're all featured in this issue of CityView.
Our theme is Culture and Community and here we celebrate a few of the
people, places and things that make the Fayetteville area great. I'm talking
everything from the 40-year-old International Folk Festival to the 3-year-old
Indigo Moon Film Festival and from architecture and history to revving race
cars on a red-dirt track as well as about all of the people who serve as links –
and as Links – between us.
I'm looking forward to a lot of good times over the next two months and
hope you will be, too, aer reading CityView. Vroom, vroom.
