Barnum, played by Hugh Jackman, but audiences clear- ly were swept away by the sheer spectacle and engaging cast. 8 p.m. on TCM Movie: Robin and Marian Robin Hood (Sean Connery) has aged well in this 1976 telling of his life after youth- ful ambitions have faded. The Crusades are over, and Robin and Little John (Nicol Williamson) return to England. They find some things have changed greatly — Lady Mar- ian (Audrey Hepburn) lives in a nunnery, and King Richard (Richard Harris) has gone insane — but the Sheriff of Nottingham (Robert Shaw) still has designs on Sherwood Forest. 8:30 p.m. on SBT2 College Football A pair of Top 25 teams out of the Pac-12 lay it on the line when the USC Trojans visit the Stanford Cardinal. The Trojans, of course, have some new faces at the quarterback position with Sam Darnold moving on to the NFL.
