BELL CHAPTER ENDOWMENT CHALLENGE
Alumni Support AcAdemic SucceSS of iotA iotA
I
ota Iota's endowment campaign for the Thomas Cowan Bell
Chapter Challenge is 40% complete with nearly $100K of the
$250K goal pledged by generous Iota Iota brothers. This designation
among a select few chapters in Sigma Chi provides enhanced values-
based leadership and scholarship benefits for undergraduate brothers.
The campaign, led by Brothers Bob Loftin '79 and Bill Stiers '86,
aims to establish a foundation of support for current and future
generations of Alabama Sigs.
When compared to non-Bell undergraduate chapters, Bell Chapter
recipients:
• Average a higher overall cumulative GPA.
• Have 58% more brothers on the Dean's List.
• Have 63% more brothers active in campus organizations.
• Have 84% more brothers within academic honor societies.
• Contribute 400 more hours of community service per year.
• Raise $7,400 more per chapter for philanthropy.
We are excited for the Iota Iota Chapter to be a leader in the fraternity
with this initiative. If endowed, the Iota Iota Chapter will be the:
• First chapter in the state of Alabama to receive this designation.
• Second chapter in the SEC to attain these benefits.
• Twelfth chapter in the Sigma Chi Fraternity to have a Bell
Chapter Endowment (currently 242 active chapters).
We hope you will join us in supporting this exciting endeavor through
a tax-deductible donation through the Sigma Chi Foundation. For
