We are committed to what the future holds for Delta Nu Chapter and take great pride in the reputation our alumni have created for us to uphold. Membership in Alpha Tau Omega has been a principal part of all our college experiences. It has provided us with the initial structure we need to succeed in college and in leadership opportunities. It has also provided us with the best friends and times we could hope for. From helping the community to strengthening our brotherhood, Delta Nu members and the executive team have done much to ensure Alpha Tau Omega's legacy at the University of North Dakota. Chapter Continues Serving the Community Community service is important to the brothers of Delta Nu. We continued our relationship with Safe Kids: Grand Forks, which is an organization that revolves around childhood safety. Brothers offered their time and talent, from dressing up as a giant bear and socializing with children, to teach children about gun safety. Delta Nu loves working with Safe Kids, but we are always looking for more community service activities. If you are a part of a nonprofit in Grand Forks and need some helpful young men to help, let us know! Brothers Participate in Gamma Jam The chapter loves to help the community, but we also enjoy socializing and having fun. The semester began with '70s-themed ice skating with the Delta Upsilon fraternity and the Kappa Delta sorority. We also enjoy participating in sorority events and philanthropies. There are a variety of social events members attend, but Gamma Jam remains a constant favorite! Eight brothers of the Delta Nu Chapter participated in the karaoke and dance competition event. They all had a great time showing off their dance moves and singing. Delta Nu Raises More than $400 for Scholarship Fund We also do activities that have a direct correlation to the future of the chapter. The brothers of Delta Nu took it into their own hands to start a scholarship fund for the chapter. We raised $420 by working at Pizza Ranch for two nights. All the proceeds will go to the chapter and be used for the scholarship fund. The chapter is also taking brotherhood more seriously for the future of Delta Nu. We will now host monthly rituals as well as a brother event at Turtle River State Park. Join Us in Supporting Our Chapter's Growth A new house for the chapter will allow two major things to transpire. First, it will provide members with a state-of-the-art facility to live in, fostering a better atmosphere for members to thrive. Second, a new house will help the chapter be more competitive with the recruitment of new members. ATΩ is the only fraternity without it's own facility. This new facility will even the playing field during recruitment. While some UND fraternity chapter houses have recently been updated this is our chance to be one step ahead of organizations with outdated living facilities in the Greek community. A new physical structure will also stand as a testament to our dedication and fuel the brotherhood for generations. Thank You, Alumni Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to see what Delta Nu is up to. Homecoming is the week of September 28 at UND. This would be the perfect opportunity for alumni to visit, meet the current undergraduate members, and reconnect with Delta Nu. We cannot thank you enough for your support and hope you are as proud of Delta Nu's legacy as we are. Please also contact us about ways to reconnect with the chapter. You are always welcome at Delta Nu! Fraternally, Dante Rodondi '19 Worthy Master dante.rodondi@und.edu (925) 918-3279 Brothers at the Safe Kids event.
