Town Manger hosts monthly public meetings Quartzsite Town Manager will hold meetings twice a month for public input. They will be held on the fi rst and third Wednesday in the Library Meeting room, starting at 2:00pm. The public is encouraged to attend. Topics will vary, however anyone may speak on any Town issue. The Library is located at 465 N. Plymouth Ave., Quartzsite. For details, contact Town Hall at 928- 927-4333. Senior Center update Did you know you don't have to be a senior to enjoy their lunches? The Quartzsite Senior Citizens Center serves delicious lunches, which includes a drink and des- sert three times a week. The Senior Center is open Monday, Wednes- day, and Friday and is open to all. Asking a donation of $3.50 per person for lunch. Remember you don't have to be a senior. Lunch starts at noon sharp! Get out of the heat, eat and meet your neighbors. If it is dirty, severely wrinkled, stained, torn, and often smelly, we end up wasting valuable time becoming your landfi ll. I am not trying to be negative but our cli- ents deserve descent items. We are also full up on yard sale items. In the process of fi ne tuning the Closet, we have added house- wares. We will gladly accept dishes, silverware, small working kitchen appliances, blankets, towels, and pillows. We serve new clients who are moving here and many have lost their homes and can utilize these items. We are grateful for all the amazing support and generosity we've re- ceived and hope you will continue. We could use some more volunteers and need more fi nancial support. In the past we have had cookout food (ham- burgers, hotdogs etc.). This year we have decided to offer a free spaghetti dinner on Saturday August 11, 2018. Time is from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
