Some of Rosa's favorite color com-
binations are pink with green and
blue with yellow, and often accom-
panied by one of her favorite
gemstones: the pearl. "Pearls should
not have a stigma of being old-fash-
ioned," she says. "We are making
pearls fun, edgy, and wearable every
day. Every girl should own a strand
of pearls, but we update them so the
pearls have attitude. Like a pristine

with a diamond-encrusted dagger,
or something that shows fi erceness,
because women today are empow-
ered and daring."
One of the things that Rosa is most
proud of is her staff. "I surround
myself with an almost entirely
female staff. I truly believe in uplift-
ing women, and the women who
work with me are talented, driven
and strong. We all worked hard to
make this collection come to life, and
the reaction we received in Las Vegas
during Jewelry Week was proof. So
many people – from editors to retail-
ers to other exhibitors – came to our
booth to ask us about our designs
and who we are. I was so humbled to
see the reactions when we were tell-
ing our story, and I cannot wait to
share what we have planned for the
future."
