SPRING 2018 The Indiana Gram Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation INGA Chapter Allocation Fund 1856 Sheridan Rd. Evanston, IL 60201-3837 Address Service Requested Alumni News Mark Fall Recruitment on Your Calendars A s always, Indiana Gamma is eager to be- gin its fall 2018 recruitment season. The Chapter has already begun preparations for our incoming Epsilon class, as Recruitment Chairman Zach Dunagin '20 is in the process of establishing his committee and summer events. Zach, a rising junior, will be involved in Gamma's recruitment for a third consecu- tive semester. Indiana University and Indiana Gamma will begin fall recruitment on Septem- ber 17, 2018. Per usual, our Chapter will focus on principles revolving around academic and athletic ex- cellence, as well as meeting the standards of the True Gentleman. Furthermore, Indiana Gamma's recruitment committee will seek new members from diverse backgrounds and geographic areas, as well as retain our com- mitment to finding future brothers within close proximity to Bloomington. Fall recruitment may very well be the most ex- citing time of the semester for our Chapter, as the brothers of Indiana Gamma enjoy meeting the best of Indiana University's freshman class and welcoming them to our brotherhood. In the past, Indiana Gamma has selected 30 fresh- men in the fall to join our illustrious Chapter and become leaders on campus. We welcome recommendations from both current brothers and alumni. You can contact Zach at zdunagin@iu.edu. Will Johnson '20 Wins the Bob "Badger" Bryan True Gentleman Award 2018 Bob "Badger" Bryan '63 is committed to the brotherhood of ΣAE, to the proud history of Indiana Gamma, and to the ideals of our fraternity. Bob has demonstrated this commitment throughout his life, but his commitment was never more evident than during the difficult days of the ΣAE recolonization on the Indiana University campus. No one invested more time and en- ergy in the reestablishment of ΣAE's presence at IU than Bob. During those challenging times, Bob's presence at IU was constant as he provided those early initiates guidance, support, and encouragement at a time when the Chapter and its new members were in need of leadership. Bob's imperative to the young men of ΣAE to "bust your fannies" will never be forgotten. Therefore, on this day, November 2, 2013, in recognition of Bob's lifetime of commitment and service to Indiana Gamma, ΣAE Indiana Gamma Alumni Association hereby establishes the Bob "Badger" Bryan True Gentleman Award. This award shall be made each spring, upon a vote of the active Chapter, to the member of the active Chapter who best exhibits the ideals of The True Gentleman in his daily words and deeds. Will Johnson '20 was awarded the True Gentleman Award on April 22, 2018.
