I llinois Beta has been making some solid improvements to the chapter house this semester. Ever since the addition of the fence last summer, the members have been utilizing this area for several activities. Although the weather does not permit some activities year-round, it makes the area that much more enjoyable when it's available for use. It is a great area to toss a football or play lacrosse, but the best purchase so far has to be the set of bags. We have included some decorations to the outside area that have been hung up on both the fence and the wall. Our members worked extremely hard on these projects. Specifically, Robert Welsh '20 constructed our ΣAE letters with the help of another member, Michael Graham '20. These designs took much hard work and dedication, but the results most definitely paid off. Ever since making a great improvement to the house by adding the fence, we have only motivated ourselves to further improve its look from the interior. Although the fence has been the main focus, we have added a speaker system to the chapter room as well. The executive committee has been making big decisions this semester. With the newly elected executive board set for next year, I can assure you that the members of ΣAE will be in great standing. With the end of the semester nearing, enjoying the newly renovated living conditions has been ideal to say the least. The fall 2018 semester cannot come soon enough!
