University of Kansas page 3 Reaching New Heights Chapter Achieves Highest GPA Since Rechartering G amma Tau elected a new executive board this spring; a bright group of men whom we feel confident will carry on our chapter's success. As our re-elected chapter president, I would like to extend my gratitude to the outgoing members of the executive board, whose hard work exceed- ed all expectations and allowed us to accomplish many of the goals we set last year. Most Improved Academic Chapter Award In the fall semester, our chapter made a huge feat, earning a cumulative GPA of 3.3—the highest since our rechartering. We ranked fourth on cam- pus and third within the Kansas Fraternity Land- lords' League. Our academic efforts were not only recognized by the university, but nationwide, with our chapter earning the Division Conference Award for Most Improved Academic Chapter. Gamma Tau is at the forefront of academic ex- cellence on the University of Kansas campus and nationally. Our long-term goal is to make this the expectation. Growing Our Brotherhood Congratulations to the new spring pledge class, a collective of 11 members who were all successfully initiated. As always, we aim to bring in a solid fall pledge class, and I encourage all alumni to help us welcome these men into our Brotherhood. There will be several reminders for this celebratory event with date and time to be announced in the near future. Send Us Your Recruitment Recommendations Recruitment remains Gamma Tau's primary focus, as the driving force of our Fraternity is member- ship. For this reason, it is imperative that we continue to receive member recommendations from alumni. Please contact Recruitment Chairman Brennan Clark '21 with the names of prospective members or if you have any questions. Actives and Alumni Connect at Golf Tournament Our Brothers enjoyed meeting the alumni who participated in our golf tournament this spring, and we hope to see more participation in this event in the coming years. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and to those who steadfastly lend their support to our chapter. Thankful for Alumni Support The men of Gamma Tau are always happy to meet with alumni whenever you're in Lawrence. Should you need anything from our chapter or have concerns, please feel free to reach out. On behalf of our undergraduate members, I thank you all for your support as we continue to make Delta Tau Delta more successful and prominent at KU.
