Registration for the Cuke Patch run is $25 per per- son after April 1, or $20 per per- son for groups of four or more. Group registrations must be sub- mitted together with the pay- ment. A portion of race proceeds will benefit the Mount Olive Parks & Recreation Department. Pre-registrations received by April 1 guaranteed a shirt on run night. For registrations received after April 1, shirts may be mailed fol- lowing run night. For more information, contact Parks and Rec Director Josh Phillips at 919-658-9538. The fun doesn't stop on Friday, however, as the annual Tour de Pickle bike ride winds its way through Wayne, Duplin and Sampson counties. Registration for the ride starts at 8 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Pickle Co. distribution center warehouse at the intersec- tion of North Center Street and Northeast Church Road. Then, starting at 9:30 a.m., the rides begin –– first a 75-mile trek fol- lowed by the 53-mile ride at 9:35 and the 25 miler at 9:40. For full maps of all three races, visit www.ncpicklefest.org/tour- de-pickle/. You can also register for the ride online at the same address. Registration for the Tour de Pickle is $45 after April 1. Checks should be made payable to Waylin Area Foundation, 123 N. Center St., Mount Olive, N.C., 28365. All riders must wear a SNELL, ANSI or other approved helmet, with no exceptions, and all riders 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. There is no rain date for the ride, so be prepared to ride rain or shine. Beck said that around 200 peo- ple typically participate in the Tour de Pickle across the three rides. 24 — The Messenger Wednesday, April 25, 2018 Our Doctors Know Kids Are A Big "Dill!" www.MtOlivePeds.com www.facebook.com/Goldsboro Pediatrics –– Goldsboro –– Pediatrics P.A. 919-734-4736 –– Princeton –– Pediatrics P.A. 919-936-3164 –– LaGrange –– Pediatrics P.A. 252-566-5999 Every Step Of The Way 919-658-9123 327 Hwy 55 West Mt.
