Olive • 919.658.5122 JEFF DAIL - Lead Pastor KEVIN MOORING Executive & Worship Pastor JOHN MICHAELSON Youth & Outreach Pastor HANNAH WARD Children's Pastor Every week, we gather to worship God in an exciting and dynamic way through inspiring music and to experience a relevant message from the Bible. Our church is made up of a group of ordinary people from all walks of life who are being transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to "Seek and win the lost to Jesus Christ, Serve the suffering, and Share life together as we grow Spiritually." We present a worship service that is charged with God's presence and we are committed to specifically ministering to all age groups for the purpose of helping them fulfill God's purpose for their lives. During the festival, the shirts will be avail- able at the information booth that will be locat- ed in front of the Chamber building. For the second year in a row, the shirts feature an Old World cultural theme, based on the travels of Chamber President Julie Beck. Beck traveled for five weeks to five countries last summer. But it was her experiences in Germany that spoke the loudest to her. As a result, the 2018 design has a German focus. The design, created by Graphic Imprints from Billings, Montana, features Oktpicklefest where gherkins (pickles) are dressed in their dirndls and lederhosen while enjoying bratwurst and pretzels. In addition, the gherkins are dancing around the Maypole and listening to a German oompah band. Check the N.C. Pickle Festival website, www.ncpicklefest.org, for updates for the event. For more information, contact the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce at 919-658-3113. T-shirts for the 32nd annual N.C. Pickle Festival are available in a variety of colors and sizes. Story by Steve Herring Julie Beck, left, and Lynn Williams, co-chairs of the N.C. Pickle Festival Committee, pose with the T-shirts that are for sale this year.
