In Memoriam Arlan Alan Arneberg Arlan Alan Arneberg, of Quartzsite, Arizona Went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2017.Born in Downey California on July 21, 1947. Arlan grew up an only child. He went to Reeves elementary,West Middle school and graduated from Warren high. He studied at Cerri- tos college. Being in choir in high school he began a love of music. As a child he learned to play a guitar which he continued as an adult. He enjoyed singing while playing guitar. He had a passion for karaoke. Arlan once said when a young lady sitting by the wall offered to play him a song for a dollar. He would always give a dollar to a fellow musician. He then picked up the guitar and played for her. Arlan was honest, gentle, kind and caring. A smart man with high intel- ligence. Arlan was in construction and built homes. He did great tile work. With his own design and skill he built 6 poker tables. Arlan could see a problem or issue with things and come up with a way to fi x it. He knew exactly what he wanted. He had great patience with others especially when he was teaching or explaining how to do things things. He was strong and helpful. When oth- ers looked like they were struggling and needed assistance, Arlan would be there. He was willing to give a helping hand. He rode a motorcycle and traveled all over on his V rod towing a small trailer, with custom made towing hitch he fabricated. He enjoyed riding the trails around Quartzsite. Utah was one of his favorite places to spend time because of the trails and the beauty. Arlan also loved photography. He read many topics to keep him mind sharp. What he didn't know, there was the internet. He is survived by his wife Mary Kay and his sister-in-law Frances Arne- berg of Victorville, California. He accepted Jesus into his life in 2011 then he married his love. There is a great void. Arlan's beautiful eyes and smile and voice will be missed. "Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence." ~ Helen Keller
