ALPHA OMICRON CHAPTER OF ALPHA DELTA PI AT OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY SPRING 2018 The Alpha Omicron Increases Campaign Goal to $1.5 Million View the New Renderings and Floor Plans T hank you to all alumnae who have gen- erously contributed to the Pride in Our Past, Building Our Legacy capital cam- paign! Due to the generosity of 265 Alpha Omicron sisters and friends, we have raised $885,647! As Alpha Delta Pi sisters, we know that we not only achieve goals, we exceed them. You may have read in the recent letter our cam- paign board has decided to continue with this positive momentum and strive for a new objec- tive: $1.5 million. Our project expenses have in- creased and unfortunately if we have not reached our new goal by early next year, we may be in jeopardy of delaying the starting construction date, which was originally planned for May 2019. We are thrilled to show you our new Chap- ter house renderings and floor plans! Please take a look at page 2 to see the new Alpha Omicron home. Once you see it, we know you will be proud to be a part of this quality project. Our design will be a complete tear-down of the existing house with a full reconstruction planned on our existing property. We began assessing our structural needs in 2012 and the current plan includes years of research and compiling our wants and needs in order to remain competitive at OSU. Our current facility is approximately 18,000 square feet and we will be growing to about 33,000 square feet. Once construction begins, it will take approximately 14 months to complete, so the women will be living in campus housing for one school year. Although we are excelling in dollars raised, we are lacking in participation. The average partici- pation among Greek campaigns is 25%. To date, 265, or about 13% of sisters and friends, have made a commitment. If 153 more sisters contrib- uted, we would reach the targeted goal. Are you among the alumnae whose name is not yet on our donor list? If so, don't delay! We would love participation from every Alpha Omicron sister to meet our goal. Remember, you can make a donation in honor of or in memory of a sister. We hope you will consider a gift using the en- closed pledge card and return envelope. Every amount is appreciated and important. For those who have already contributed, We ask that you consider increasing your gift or reaching out to a sister who hasn't donated and encourage her participation. Working together, we can strive for an even higher percentage of alumnae sup- porting the project. It is an amazing and humbling feeling to receive donations from alumnae everywhere and of all generations who generously continue to support Alpha Omicron. Today, there are so many non- profit organizations asking for your financial support, that we understand the significance of your decision to give back to Alpha Delta Pi. We hope fond memories of great friends and won- derful experiences encourage you all to give back to this vital project.
