Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family. PATRICIAN ANN MORGAN CRAIN Mrs. Patricia Ann Morgan Crain, 75, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away on April 23, 2018. She was born April 25, 1942 in Rutherford County, NC. She is survived by her hus- band, Donnie H. Crain; son, Mark Crain and his wife, Teri; son, Mike Crain and his wife, Sherry; daughter, Martina Taylor and her husband, Kenny; son, Anson Crain and his wife, Denene; eight grand- children; four great-grandchil- dren; and seven siblings, Doug Robinson, Mick Robinson, Stan Robinson, Debbie Carter, Toney Robinson, Tony Morgan, and Tim Morgan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Robinson; her father, Floyd Morgan; her grandparents. The funeral was held at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church. Graveside services immediately followed. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043. In addition to her hus- band, left behind to cherish her memory are five daugh- ters, Donna Putnam (Scott), Regina Hoyle (Bryan), Teresa Biddix (Toney), Debbie Slowter (Brad), and Lisa Adkins (James); three sons, James Stadler, Darrell Stadler (Jessica), and Austin Bell (Brandy); and twenty- three grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchil- dren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lula Mae Wilson, Elsie Mullinax, and Shirley Upchurch; three broth- ers, Jack Upchurch, J.D. Upchurch, and Eugene Upchurch; and two grand- children. Funeral services were held in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel. Interment followed in the McKown's Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. PATRICIA WEAVER WHITE Patricia Weaver White, age 75, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on April 20, 2018. Born May 8, 1942 she was the daughter of the late William Howard Weaver Sr. and Rachel Lovelace Weaver. Pat is survived by her husband, Henry White; her son, Michael White of Gastonia and her daughter, Amanda Homesley and hus- band, Edwin of Cherryville; brother, Bill Weaver Jr. and wife, Beverly of Shelby, NC; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren. GARRY BUDDY GRANT Mr. Garry Buddy Grant, age 80 of Shelby, NC, passed away on April 20, 2018. Born July 27, 1937 in Yancey County, he was a son of the late Jack Grant and Irene Hensley Grant. Born in Gaston County NC, he was the son of the late Hoyt Wilson Watkins and Helen Jenkins; and was pre- ceded in death by his grand- mother; and a brother, Drew Allen Watkins. Mr. Watkins served our country in the US Army dur- ing the Vietnam Conflict. He is survived by his son, Christopher Brannon Watkins and wife, Samantha of Gastonia, NC; daughters, Jodie Setzer and husband, Tim of Gastonia, NC, Niki Smith and husband Michael, Clover, SC; six grandchildren; and brother, Reggie Watkins and wife, Joyce of Dallas, NC. BENJAMIN MOREY HOUSER Mr. Benjamin Morey Houser, age 87, of Cherryville, NC passed away on April 22, 2018. Born January 31, 1931 in Gaston County, he was youngest of fifteen children, having seven brothers and seven sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Madge Eudora Haynes Houser and daugh- ters, Kathy Lynn Hargrove and Phyllis Gaye Miller. Mr. Houser served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his son, David Benjamin Houser and wife, Sheila Houser; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; son-in-law, Tim Miller; and son-in-law, Ronny Hargrove. Burial and graveside ser- vice was at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. JACK CLARK DIXON Infant, Jack Clark Dixon, beloved precious son of Jacob and Colleen Dixon, born February 5, 2018, passed away peacefully in his mother and father's arms on April 21, 2018. Jack was preceded in death by his six great-grand- parents.
