Gritty textures, urban cityscapes, and
the abundant beauty of nature are
ongoing sources of inspiration for
designer Julez Bryant. In asking her
about a few of her other favorite
things, we uncovered Julez' incredible
zest for life! A two-time cancer survi-
vor, Julez volunteers her time assist-
ing young women with rare cancer
(99% terminal) in having a voice. She
helps protect their dignity and helps
them make life decisions until they no
longer can. Explains Julez, "It's a
calling, and I learn so much through
seeing these amazing women."
Perhaps it is the result of overcoming
her own battles that Julez is also a
believer in the human spirit, "I know
we are all capable of big things and
most of the time, we're held back by
our own fear." Julez' own fear is let-
ting anyone down, but she uses that
fear to fuel her to move her company
and team along. "My team is every-
thing to me," she says. "They are the
heart and lungs of Julez Bryant."
When asking Julez about some of
her other passions, it quickly became
