Daniel's Hope is between 3 and 4 years old. She's named for the person (Daniel) who first alerted authorities to her deplorable living conditions; she was extremely emaciated and showed signs of neglect. But with the help of animal shel- ter staff and the rescue group, she has gained weight and is doing well now. Daniel's Hope likes most other dogs, but doesn't pay much attention to cats. She's more interested in getting food and treats than just about anything else. She does well with children. And she's learning how to walk on a leash. This pretty girl has been spayed. She was heartworm positive, but is on treat - ment. Daniel's Hope is looking for a for- ever family to provide her with a loving and caring environment. She's available for adoption through Furever Paws. The adoption fee is $150. A home check is required. To adopt this sweet dog, call Melody Drew at 919-988-4813 or Debbie Rouse at 252-268-8338 or email to melody@ fureverpaws.us.
