They completed tasting sheets and rated the wines; fi ve glasses being the best. Brooks Note, 2014, Pinot Noir, vines in the rolling hills of West Marin. Described as "yummy" by one of the tasters, rated with 3 glasses by the group, this is defi nitely a contender. You can fi nd this at local grocers for approximately $55/bottle. Pey-Marin, Trois Filles 2015 Pinot Noir, vines grown in western Marin. Our "tasters" commented that this varietal was tasty, smooth, ruby in color, and the best of the bunch. All said they would defi nitely purchase Pey-Marin Pinot, which retails for around $45 bottle and can be found at several local grocers. Trek Wine, Albarino 2015, produced and bottled in Novato This was the only white wine tasted, which started the afternoon's festivities. As this is made in Marin, yet with grapes from the Carner- os region, it can't say "Marin County" on the label. The tasters enjoyed this and described it as bright, light, and an easy-sipping wine, available at Trek for $24.
