Our marvelous customers and with proceeds from our Silent Auction of handmade quilts, we could give to this wonderful cause. These in-store silent auctions will continue throughout the summer. Every two weeks we will have two new quilts for your bidding. This time, we have Raggedy Ann & Andy and vari- ous dogs as quilt themes. You can put a donation in our kettle for these various community programs too. Stop in and support these amazing programs we have in our town. We will remain open through April on our current fi ve days a week schedule. We are open 9:00 – 1:00, Tuesday – Saturday. Changes in days and hours will be announced later. Please remember donations ONLY when we are open. After-hour dona- tions often do not make it into the store. Our security camera shows theft of after-hour dropped off items. If you have a special donation circumstance, please call me. PLEASE don't leave even small bags of donations, as they can accumulate and then are scattered all over the front porch area. QPD has been notifi ed. Discovery Camp Pre-Registration Forms are now be- ing accepted on- line only. This fun Salvation Army Summer Camp is June 18-22, 2018 for ages 7-12. Camp Ponderosa Ranch is in Heber, AZ., north of Phoenix. Last year we had the largest number of children attending as other units were not able to fi ll their allotments. Stop in and ask for details. These camperships are one area that our Red Kettle Campaign monies support. Children have no expenses to attend this fun week-long camp. We are still looking for timber logs- to designate parking spots, a large decorative rock, and a bike rack for our newly designed front parking area. Let me know if you any leads. Thanks. Okay...asking AGAIN, for that special guy or gal that loves to tinker with electrical small appliances- things with cords. WE NEED YOU! We pro- vide the tools and supplies for minor repair, cleaning, and pricing of items like coffee pots, toasters, vacuum cleaners, clocks, radios, crock pots- you get the idea. We are air-conditioned and provide water/coffee and often homemade cookies, cakes, pies etc. Am I enticing you? Come see us and get an application to become a summertime volunteer.
