adjacent the historic home. e rustic pre-modern facade
facility houses a growing number of exhibits re ective
of early-day Gravette. e annex building houses a
schoolroom with pictures of Gravette High School
graduating classes extending back to the 1920s, and
barber shop and newspaper o ce displays. e museum
also contains exhibits about Captain Field E. Kindley,
the fourth-ranking ying ace in World War I, natural
history displays, and many items depicting Gravette's
past.
Gravette Days
Held the second weekend of August, Gravette Days
commemorates the town's founding in 1893. Several
thousand people, including school alumni, enjoy all
types of festivities and one of the best parades in the
area at this annual event. ●
