Dynamic Duo Much of what Wayne Country Day ultimately accomplishes this spring will like- ly be tied to the productivity of Case Kermode and Avery Browning, who enjoyed hyper-efficient campaigns a season ago. Kermode hit .421 with 32 hits and 30 RBI (12 extra-base hits) as a sophomore, and provided many a shining moment for the Chargers behind the dish. Browning also proved dependable, hitting .463 with 31 hits and 18 RBI while striking out just eight times in 66 at-bats. In short, they're two of the area's most competent performers — and should fare well against pitching they have seen for some time now.
