"Back to the Future" (1985) On the heels of his success in "Family Ties," Michael J. Fox became a bonafide megastar with his portrayal of high-schooler Marty McFly, who teams with an eccentric inventor (Christopher Lloyd) to ride a nuclear-powered DeLorean back in time to change family history – and preserve his own existence. "Peggy Sue Got Married" (1986) A 40-ish housewife (Kathleen Turner) faints at a high-school reunion and awakens to find herself back in her senior year, where she gets to relive – and perhaps reconsider – the decisions that led her to her unhappy present in this Francis Ford Coppola classic. "Midnight in Paris" (2011) It's midnight in the French capital, and 21st century writer Gil Pender (Owen Wilson) is swept back in time to party and hobnob with Jazz Age greats including Ernest Hemingway, F.
