WO R L D A M AT E U R TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS IRELAND 2018 HOST COUNTRY INFORMATION Local currency is euro. Hotels, Golf Clubs and Restaurants accept all major debit and credit cards. ATMs are available in Maynooth on Main Street and on the University Campus within a short walking distance of the Phoenix Building and the Championship Village accommodation. PAYMENTS Money exchange can be done at Dublin Airport, and in the banking outlets on Main Street in Maynooth (AIB, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank), all of which operate an extensive currency exchange service. In addition, a limited fund of popular currencies will be kept by Carton House to provide exchange services on site. CURRENCY EXCHANGE All visitors are advised to take out their own individual travel insurance when travelling to Ireland. Public liability insurance at all Championship venues will be covered by the Host Organisation and its venue partners. INSURANCE A Tourism desk will be manned at Carton House during the event for any assistance required by attendees who wish to play golf or visit popular tourist attractions during their visit to Ireland. For those who decide to ship, please make sure to allow plenty of time. Please note that IGF and the Championship Organising Committee have no control over international shipping and customs practices in Ireland, and make no guarantees of being able to assist in case of delay.
