ALPHA C HI REVIEW P H I K A P PA TA U | A L P H A C H I C H A P T E R | S P R I N G 2 0 1 8 THE W hen we think back on our college days, most of our memories revolve around Phi Kappa Tau. We remember moving into 304 South Jackson for the first time, and spending hours at the chap- ter house studying with our brothers. We also remember social events, and tailgating with alumni before football games. Events that brought genera- tions of brothers back together. That is what the Embracing Your Alpha Chi Legacy campaign is all about. This campaign, which started several years ago, was created to ensure fu- ture generations of ΦΚΤs have the same opportunities we did as under- graduate members. But can you really put a price tag on your Phi Kappa Tau experience? Is there really a monetary value that can be placed? We don't think there is. For us, our days in the Alpha Chi Chapter house were simply priceless. A fraternity is not unlike a business, and we can't help but reflect on the numbers that have played a significant role in our campaign. Some num- bers you have seen before, such as our $1.5 million campaign goal. Others are interesting facts recently learned. It is amazing to see how numbers impact every aspect of the campaign for Alpha Chi Chapter. The number of generous brothers and friends who have donated to our campaign. The ages range from a brother who was initiat- ed in 1948 to brothers who graduated in the mid-1990s. Dollars per month for five years (a total of $2,500) to have your name on a prominent, permanently displayed plaque in the chapter house, in recognition of your leadership gift to this cap- ital campaign. Pledges may be spread over a five-year period to help maximize your support, and payments can easily be made online! The classes with the highest giving percentages. Alumni from 1960-64 lead the way in giving with 35% of the total dollars donated. Congratulations! Help your era increase its giving par- ticipation. A gift at any level will make an impact! The symbol for infinity. That is the potential lasting effect of any size gift to Embracing Your Alpha Chi Legacy. Who knows, perhaps a world leader, a scientist who finds a cure for a disease, or your child's future teacher might be nurtured and supported in the chapter house we called home during our college years. How Much Does Phi Kappa Tau Mean to You? Less Than $700,000 Needed to Reach $1.5 Million Goal So, how much does Phi Kappa Tau mean to you? How much are you willing to give back to the fraternity that has impacted your life, in surely more ways than one? Please use the enclosed pledge form and send in your gift TODAY.
