e School of the Osage district continues its
strategic-planning initiative to evaluate the district's
use of technology and communication, which
began in the fall of 2013. is 2013-2018 initiative
ensures student excellence both now and in the
future.
e Missouri Department of Elementary and
Secondary Education has consistently rated
the district as "Accredited with Distinction
in Performance" – the state's highest level of
accreditation.
e school district has four buildings on two
campuses, with a total enrollment of nearly 2,000
students in grades K – 12. e student teacher
ratio at School of the Osage is 17 to one, according
to the Missouri Department of Elementary and
Secondary Education. e district has a four-year
graduation rate of approximately 94 percent with
40.9 percent of graduating seniors going on to a
four-year college and 34.8 percent going on to a
two-year college or trade school.
e district offers programs including dual
enrollment, Advanced Placement, the A+
Scholarship program for grades 9 -12 as well the
GATES program for gied elementary and middle
school students.
