Village of Four Seasons e City of Osage Beach spans both sides of the Grand Glaize Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. Built on the site of the original town of Zebra, in 1935 residents of the area petitioned to have the name of the post office changed to Osage and, while the area grew steadily, the town wasn't incorporated until 1965. Built on the most popular recreational arm of the Lake, the City of Osage Beach also connects to Missouri's biggest and most popular state park, the 17,400-acre, Lake of the Ozarks State Park. e largest of the Lake Area towns, Osage Beach has a population of 4,351 year-round residents and is one of the state's most popular shopping destinations as its home to Missouri's largest factory outlet mall, several nationally-known commercial chains and dozens of locally-owned shops of all types. The city is also home to several mini golf courses, go-cart tracks, a children's indoor amusement park and is the site of several annual festivals, parades and other community events. City of Osage Beach, Missouri "e Heart of Lake of the Ozarks" Started as homes within the realm of the Four Seasons Development Company, the Village of Four Seasons was one of the last towns in the Lake Area to incorporate, when it officially became a village in 1987. Governed by a Board of Trustees, the village has grown by leaps and bounds since that time. One of the most attractive communities in the Lake Area, the village takes up much of the prestigious residential area known as Horseshoe Bend, a peninsula, which juts into the Lake's main channel directly west of the City of Lake Ozark. In fact, the only access to the Village of Four Seasons and the remainder of the Horseshoe Bend Parkway area is through the City of Lake Ozark. The village is funded by a two-cent sales tax charged on products and services sold at businesses within its boundaries.
