OMICRON'S GREAT
TRADITION CONTINUES
T
he Omicron Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order continues
its strong heritage today anchored by the success of the
undergraduate brothers. Boasting a top 10 GPA, campus
involvement in the Texas Cowboys and Silver Spurs, as well as
leadership in the community, Omicron continues to lead the
Austin community.
Kappa Alpha Order membership is impacting today's undergraduates,
just as it did during our time in the chapter house. From lifelong
memories and friendships to vital leadership development, today's
undergraduates at the University of Texas will go on to lead the state
and this nation. It is up to us to provide them a safe, competitive, and
financially sound KA house.

"I'm supporting the campaign because
I have seen firsthand how close we came
to losing UT KA forever. Fraternities
are under fire and I think their role is
misunderstood. It's a social organization,
and rightly second to academics, but KA
plays an important role in rounding out
young men. While I fully respect the circumstances that lead
alumni sons to go SAE or Fiji, I confess I also chafe at this and
want KA to be the most attractive option. is campaign will
go a long way in getting us back to where we have historically
been." – Jim McBride '80, Campaign Co-Chairman
