4 • Gravette Chamber of Commerce 2018 Greater Gravette Chamber of Commerce A note from the mayor 2018 is shaping up to be a great year for the residents of Gravette and the City of Gravette. e city pool will receive major upgrades including a new pool house, vending area, and pavilions. Perhaps the most exciting addition to the pool area is the new splash park. is interactive splash park will appeal to kids of all ages and is sure to be a popular destination this summer. Pop Allum Park will receive a makeover that includes new soccer fields, revamped baseball fields, and a renovated concession area. Bids for work will be accepted and work is anticipated to begin shortly thereaer. On the east side of town, the Hiwasse community building is currently undergoing renovations that will include a brand-new kitchen and meeting space. e greenspace attached to the community building has been transformed with a large, new playground and restrooms and should be ready for play by spring. Make sure to stop by the Gravette Public Library to take advantage of the expanded and improved programming that includes preschool, children's, teen, and adult programming year-round. e book collection is constantly evolving, and many family-friendly activities are offered throughout the year.
