Continuing the Pursuit of Excellence AlphA Nu ChApter of BetA thetA pi More Than $5.7 Million Raised We Aren't Done Yet—Help Us Increase Participation in 2018 W e have received more than $250,000 in new pledges and gifts in the past three months, and we are so grateful! Our great fraternity has now raised $5,717,221. During the summer of 2017, we completed phase two of our $2.8 million renovation of Usher Mansion. With 18% of our alumni making a gift thus far, we have a tremendous opportunity to establish our capital maintenance and scholarship endowments, securing the future of Alpha Nu and Usher Mansion for years to come. What we need: With the average gift topping $11,000, we ask those who have not given to consider a $5,000 gift, or a pledge of $1,000 per year for five years. This gift amount will secure your name on our permanent donor plaque in our renovated Hutt. Every pledge, no matter the size, is needed and very much appreciated. Strong undergraduates: The chapter experienced another successful fall semester in a variety of ways. First, success on the athletic field was highlighted with championships in indoor and outdoor volleyball, dodgeball, and football, as well as an appearance in the basketball semifinals. Additionally, the chapter hosted a successful philanthropic event and was selected to participate in Rock Chalk Revue with our neighbors up the hill, Kappa Kappa Gamma. Finally, a strong pledge class made its case for initiation with a strong academic performance and in preparing the 134th edition of Turkey Pull. It will be a great time renew your bonds, catch up with your brothers, and see the renovations firsthand. You will also have the opportunity to meet the future of Alpha Nu; our undergraduate brothers are eager to meet you and give you a tour.
