Wayne Mays, IOM, serves as President/CEO of the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce. This is the top staff position and reports directly to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. Mays oversees all operations and work of the Chamber, and manages staff members and volunteers. Laura Campbell is the Director of Communication and Membership of the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce. This role focuses on communicating with membership and the public. Campbell also handles all marketing for the Chamber and its events, oversees all social media and is in charge of recruiting and retaining Chamber membership. Katelyn Coon serves as the Director of Events of the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce. She is responsible for a number of special events and promotions that the Chamber puts on throughout the year. Nathan Reed is the Director of Economic Development and Finance of the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce. This role focuses on all aspects of Economic Development as it relates to the Siloam Springs community and Northwest Arkansas, as well as financials for the organization. Kathy Layman serves as the Administrative Assistant of the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce. She serves by supporting each member of the staff, greeting members and visitors at the door and on the phone, as well as clerical duties. The Chamber of Commerce began in the 1930's and has promoted the businesses of Siloam Springs ever since. With more than 475 members, the Chamber works to promote the economy by supporting businesses both large and small. It has great resources and connections for businesses, entrepreneurs, residents and visitors. The Chamber advocates for business in state and national legislation, promotes tourism, hosts educational programs, recruits new business to town, helps current business with expansions and projects, and holds more than 45 events per year; including monthly First Friday Coffees, Thrive events, annual banquets and a golf tournament.
