November 7, 2012 Salome High updates Salome High School finished their volleyball season. They did their best! The boys' football team made it to the playoffs! They beat Mesa Prep on Sat- urday, October 20, 2012. They moved on to the second round of playoffs, where they played against Pima at Pima and lost. In other news, girl's basketball practice started the 29th and the boys will start on Nov. 5. Let's have a great season. GO FROGS!! Tuesday, October 23rd, the juniors and seniors took their writing AIMS test. Wednesday, October 24th, they took the reading AIMS test. Thursday, October 25th, they took math AIMS test. Good Luck on the Fall AIMS Testing. • There was a Pep Rally on 10-26 • C.A.S.T. - Clean and Sober Theater was at 2:00pm on 10-26 • Honor Roll assembly was on 10-29 • Halloween Trunk or Treat on 10-31 • Late Start, Teacher In-service 10-31 • Honor Roll trip is on 11-1 • Picture retakes are on 11-5 • Cyber Bullying Presentation 11-5 • Balfour will visit for class rings on 11-7 • There is no school on 11-12 in honor of Veterans Day Jean Marcley, a licensed Zumba in- structor, is teaching Zumba Gold classes in Brenda and Salome. These classes are specially designed for the older adult, women and men, and the deconditioned participant.
