November 7, 2012 Personal Enrichment Classes Available at Arizona Western College Quartzsite - November Quartzsite, Arizona - Arizona Western College (AWC) in Quartzsite will host one-day workshops in the month of November. Featured workshops include Acrylic Painting, Jewelry Making, and Na- tive American Beadwork. During the one-day workshops participants will have the opportunity to hone already present skills, or be introduced to new forms of art and self-expression. Jewelry Making- Participants will learn the basics of creating earrings, bracelets and necklaces for men, children, and women. At the conclu- sion of the workshop students will have gained a new appreciation for the art of jewelry making and take home their own creations. Tuesday, November 27, 2012, 9am-3pm. $29 Native American Beading- Empha- sis will be placed on two different methods of Native American Bead- work: Loom Work and Lazy Stitch.
