Last week, they surprised Carol Kelley, Food Bank Director, with hams, cornish game hens, dressing, and the fi xings for 50 family holiday dinners. During 2011-2012 the Walls volun- teered their time with Proud Neigh- bors of Quartzsite's (PNQ) Rockin' in Quartzsite. With the money raised by PNQ, the couple presented $250 worth of food to the Food Bank at PNQ's Appreciation Dinner for Sponsors, Artists and Volunteers on October 19th. Sandee also donated her time catering the de- liciously elegant sit down dinner. Attendees at the 4th An- nual Rockin' in Quartzsite event held Saturday, Nov. 3rd also had an opportu- nity to enjoy her talents as she prepared the Hors d'oeuvres and treats for the Artist Reception. The Walls are a wonderful new addition to the com- munity of Quartzsite! Many hungry people have enjoyed their gen- erousity over the past few years. Thank you for you self-less giving! He died November 1st at Polidori Hospice in Lake Havasu Arizona. He was the seldom seen maker and baker of the Quartzsite Bakery. He is survived by his wife Deanna of 53 years, son Vic of Sandy Oregon, daughter Xena Hamby of Pompano Beach, Florida, grand chil- dren Nick, Jalaine, and Quade Sheehan, Hunter Hamby, and great grand daugh- ter Addison Sheehan.
