Welcome, 2018!
ere's something refreshing
about a new year, a new slate and
a new issue of CityView that I
hope you'll enjoy as much as we
did in putting it together. It's our
health and wellness issue and
you can find a connection to this
topic in all of our stories.
Fayetteville State University,
for example. Chancellor James
Anderson says the university,
which is celebrating its 150th
anniversary this year, has
overcome some serious problems
and is now thriving and aimed
at the future. On to the next 150
years.
e lovely mountain home of
a Fayetteville couple is balm to
their senses – and to ours.
A virtual community for military
spouses seeks to nourish their
health and wellness while
Fayetteville-based Bare Foods,
which makes sauces and
marinades, is all about helping
people to eat healthy.
And when it opens this summer,
Friendship House will be looking
to improve the lives of all of its
residents and the community as
a whole.
So come on in, turn the page and
let's get started on 2018.
