6 12.31.2017 SCHOOL: Greenwood CLASS: Senior HEIGHT: 6-2 WEIGHT: 195 POSITION: Quarterback THE SCOOP: Noland threw for 2,801 yards and 34 touchdowns against just six interceptions in leading Greenwood to its first 6A state title since 2014. Over his last five games, Noland threw 15 touchdowns and just one interception. … Completed 68 percent of passes for 5,678 yards in his Greenwood career, splitting time with quarterback Luke Hales as a sophomore and junior. … Expected to play football and baseball at Arkansas in 2018. DID YOU KNOW?: When he's not training for football or baseball, Noland enjoys cooking, particularly steak and breakfast, and playing golf. … He is also a big fan of NBC's hit show Shark Tank. … Noland is regarded as the state's top football and baseball prospect in the 2018 class. He held football offers from UCLA, Memphis, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, Penn State and others. … Noland signed with Arkansas during college football's first early signing period in the Colosseum in Rome on a family vacation. HE SAID IT: "It was a very special year for the whole team," Noland said of winning the class 6A state title in early December. "We talked about taking it one game at a time and we did that. We went out on a high note and left our mark on Greenwood football. We had a great group of players and it was a great experience.
