27 12.31.2017 SCHOOL: Greenwood CLASS: Senior THE SCOOP: Gamble was class 6A medalist as a freshman in 2014 and as a senior this fall. … Finished state runner-up in 2015 and 2016. … Gamble became sick with food poisoning the night before the state tournament. … Over the two-day tournament, Gamble shot 145, downing Siloam Springs' Brinkley Beever by 12 strokes. … Combined with Evan Griffith's 147, Greenwood swept the boys and girls individual state titles. DID YOU KNOW?: Gamble signed on Nov. 8 signed with Arkansas-Fort Smith. … She will begin practicing with the team this spring. … Gamble will graduate from Greenwood with 36 college hours and begin college as a sophomore at Arkansas-Fort Smith. … Gamble is a big fan of comedy movies, and her favorite Netflix show is White Collar Comedy. SHE SAID IT: "As a team this season we won most of our matches," Gamble said. "We really clicked a lot better than we did last year, but we had a year to get to know each other and grow. That helped with how we played this year. At state we just did what we were supposed to do. Everybody got along really well, and at state I played probably the best golf I've ever played.
