18 12.31.2017 SCHOOL: Fayetteville CLASS: Senior HEIGHT: 6-2 POSITION: Outside Hitter THE SCOOP: Arguably the most dominant attacker in Arkansas volleyball history, the 6-foot-2 Florida signee capped her high school career 92 kills in four state tournament matches and earned her tournament most valuable player honors. … Warner finished with impressive career totals of 2,089 kills, a hitting percentage of .320 in 435 sets. … She also added 349 total blocks, 917 digs, and 88 service aces. … She helped Fayetteville, which finished third in the 7A-West Conference, to bounce back and win its third consecutive Class 7A state title. … Warner also earned all-state honors for the fourth time, posting 669 kills and hitting .344 with 29 aces, 82 total blocks and 232 digs this season. DID YOU KNOW?: Haley's brother, Jon, still owns three school record in basketball at Rogers Heritage. The 6-foot-8 center, who graduated in 2011, holds the record for blocked shots in a season (131), career (208) and game (11) and also has the record for most rebounds in a game (17). COACHSPEAK: "Obviously, offensively Haley is just so talented, but it goes unnoticed some that she's just a great all-around volleyball player," said Fayetteville coach Jessica Phelan, who was an All American volleyball player at Arkansas. "She faced a double block most of the time and found ways to score in those situations and added some shots to her repertoire. "I think Haley has been the consummate teammate, confident without being arrogant and didn't take anything for granted. She's not super vocal all the time, but I thought she pushed those younger kids and was an encourager." — Paul Boyd • @NWAPaulb Arkansas Self Storage, LLC Quality • Service • Convenience CONGRATULATIONS AREA ATHLETES! arkansasselfstorage.com
