Dec. 17th, 6pm at the Alliance Church 720 W. Desert Vista St. 928-916-9571 By Joanne Winer "Are you closing?" "Are you going out of business?" "Are you moving?" People are asking Paul Winer, owner of Reader's Oasis Bookstore for 27 years "NO! NO! "We're having a storewide 50% off sale until the end of February to cut down the inventory" he explained. Paul is planning to convert part of the bookstore into a small music hall. And to do that, he needs some space. The sale includes All used books, music, movies,, western history, military, rare and scarce--everything is 50% off. There are also some outside book blowout sales with some great bargains too! "Next winter season, instead of playing only 4 nights in the large halls, I'll be performing 35 nights in my 100 seat music hall. I want to do more music! " Paul said. "I'm combining 2 passions in one place--it will be Read- er's Oasis Books and Music Hall--after that, we are planning to include an ice cream shoppe as well." This winter Paul is performing Jan. 21 and 22 at the Quartzsite Senior Citizens Center and Feb. 27 at the Q.I.A. Also, on Jan. 19 and Feb. 8 at the Centennial Community Hall i Salome/Wenden. Paul will also be play- ing most evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. at the bookstore at 690 E. Main St. Quartzsite. Come and enjoy! Book Bonanza rumors end here...
