Grand Master Gene Cobb and Grand Secretary Walt Clapp rep- resented North Carolina at the event. Cobb and Clapp got a little bit of sightseeing in, while GM Cobb enjoyed a moment with the UGLE's Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Kent. Chris Aller ton Photography/UGLE The Grand Lodges of North and South Carolina gathered in late November to remember William Richardson Davie at the Da- vie burial site in Old Waxhaw Cemetery in Lancaster, S.C. Grand Master Gene Cobb, praised Davie as a true and strong leader who loved Masonry and honored the Craft in his work and accom- plishments. "May the lion roar, and the pillar be our strength for now and ever more," he said. Cobb presented as a gift to South Carolina Grand Master Michael Smith an historic apron from Royal White Hart #2, where Da- vie became a Master Mason. Photos by Beth Grace
