BOLINAS LAGOON RESTORATION The Bolinas Lagoon Ecosystem Restoration Project will help protect this treasured, interna- tionally recognized, 1,000 acre wetland. The North End Wetland Enhancement and Sea Level Rise Adaptation Project is the result of over 20 years of col- laboration between the County and the communities of Bolinas and Stinson Beach. Currently in the design phase, the project will address roadway flooding while improving habitat for shoreline birds, waterfowl, and fish, including special status species such as steelhead and red-legged frog. MCINNIS MARSH RESTORATION The McInnis Marsh project proposes to restore 180 acres of marsh and improve fish and wildlife habitat. This proj- ect would improve habitat for threatened and endangered species such as the Ridgway's rail, the California black rail, the saltmarsh harvest mouse, and steelhead. The project will also provide a nature based solution to protecting McInnis Park and the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District water treatment facility from flooding and sea level rise. AGATE BEACH INCLUSIVE ACCESS DISCOVERY TRAIL Opened in fall 2017, this project leveled a pathway and installed box steps near the beach, mak- ing it easier for people of all abilities to enjoy scenic Agate Beach. It is the first of several trails identified for improvement by Marin County Parks' Inclusive Access Plan. Inclusive Access trails at key locations will give visitors increased flexibility in how they make use of County parks and open spaces accord- ing to their own abilities. WETLANDS, BEACHES, CREEKS, & STREAMS MEASURE A DAY! Connect to your mountain in 2018! There are many ways to get involved. Check onetam.org/calendar.
