A fter an intense recruitment period, Michigan Gamma is proud to welcome our newest additions to the brotherhood. These True Gentlemen embody the ideals of ΣΑΕ through their thoughts, words, and actions. We also enjoyed a very successful chapter house dedication September 8-10. It was great to see so many alumni who were such a vital part to the renovations to make this the best chapter house in Michigan! Chapter Welcomes 28 New Members As we turn toward the future, we are very proud to welcome 28 new members into our brotherhood. These members were selected out of an incredibly competitive recruitment process of over 340 unique potential new members. This brings our number of active brothers up to 136, which further enhances our cultural blend of in- state, out-of-state, and international additions. Our new members' dedication to scholarship, leadership, and social skills is truly an asset to Michigan Gamma. This will help us to maintain our reputation, while growing the future leaders of our chapter as they progress at Michigan State. Brothers Host Successful Paddy Murphy Week We had the privilege of hosting our second annual Paddy Murphy Week October 9-13. With help from our Philanthropy Chairman Charles Strehl '18, we raised nearly $15,000 for the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The event consisted of a banner competition, casino night, penny wars, and concluded with a Mike Jones concert at Club Rush on October 13. True to Form Michigan Gamma Sets Recruitment Record Brothers Erli Metko '21, Brendan Dudek '20, Jack Allen '19, and Ross Gallace '21 man the penny wars table at the rock during our Paddy Murphy Week. Sorority house directors judge the banner competition held October 9-14. Thank You, Alumni I would like to thank the Michigan Gamma alumni base for all of their support, and especially for attending our chapter house dedication. If you have a recruitment recommendation for the spring, please file it on the SAE.net website under resources in the "Make a Recommendation" tab. This will help the potential new member/legacy receive special consideration while going through the recruitment process.
