ounders Day 2017 was new and improved
for Epsilon Beta. Alongside the House
Corporation Board, we were able to host the
evening at both the house and the new on-campus
football stadium in the Club Level. This year
was unique because Epsilon Beta was presenting
the final mock ups for the house expansion
that will break ground mid-December. We had
about 58 alumnae in attendance and nearly 100
actives. We hosted house tours, cocktail hour,
and an amazing plated dinner and dessert at the
CSU stadium. Along with all of that, we were
able to present one 65-year pin to Mary Olive
Doebbling '52 and two 50-year pins to Debbie
Johanningmeier '67 and Cheryl Peppler '67.
This was an amazing honor for me to present and
it touched my heart to see the love and dedication
these women still had for Kappa. Overall, this
was by far the most memorable Founders Day
EB has hosted in a while and I'm so lucky to
have been apart of it.
