He has four players re- turning from last season's 13-14 team, and hopes his fast- paced style can translate into more wins this season. "We run a traditional mo- tion offense, but we usually get a shot up within the first 12 seconds of the shot clock," McCarron said with a sly grin. "We will run some sets, but mainly we are just push- ing the ball up and down. We're going hard, and the kids love to play that way — and I love to coach that way." The Royals will be led by 6-6 junior forward Cash Krueger, a native of Denton, Texas, who transferred in from Lyon College prior to last season. They have also added 6-9 junior Kelvin- son Osondu, a native of La- gos, Nigeria, and a transfer from Yellowstone Christian College in Billings, Mont. Second-year starter, Chris White, a 6-3 junior guard from El Dorado, should also provide some productivity. The team also includes local products Malacio Free- land, a 5-9 sophomore guard from Rogers High, who trans- ferred in from Lyon College; Reagan Babyar, a 5-10 fresh- man guard from Centerton's Life Way Christian; Andrew Elkar, a 6-3 freshman guard from Springdale; and Tukio Benjamin, a 5-8 sophomore from Springdale. The men's schedule is fairly stacked for a small i n d e p e n d e n t s c h o o l , a s the Royals are set to face 1 5 NAIA schools, seven NCAA Division II schools, and three NCAA Division I schools — McNeese State, Texas State and Southern University — all on the road. "My forte is really just motivating my guys to com- pete on the court," McCarron said. "I just try to instill in my guys the passion to get com- petitive and stay active. "We love to shoot it and attack the rim, so I think we will at least be fun to watch." FIND NEW JOB LISTINGS EVERY DAY! nwajobfi nder.com Our Team is Behind You™ www.LaborFinders.com 406 E.
