Riding for the Brand : 100 Years, Pride-Loyalty-Brotherhood LAMBDA CHI ALPHA - ALPHA ETA - OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY F or the past 50-plus years, more than 1,000 men have called 923 University Avenue home and had the honor of being Lambda Chis while attending Oklahoma State University. LCA members have a long history of leadership on campus, in the classroom, within the Greek community, and as alumni. Our Chapter House has served us well and has been the centerpiece of life for our brothers. Our house—designed originally as a sorority house—has long outlived its usefulness. It is in serious need of updating to meet the require- ments of today's modern students. We need a facility that will not only serve the immediate needs of our current undergraduates, but will ensure we are competitive in a vibrant Greek sys- tem. Our Chapter's past is secure, our present is thriving, but our future depends on our vigilance in supporting Lambda Chi Alpha. Alpha Eta proudly announces the Riding for the Brand: 100 Years, Pride-Loyalty-Brotherhood campaign. Our plans for the 23,915-square-foot facility focus on suite-style and double-occupan- cy bedrooms, ample social and activity space, an apartment suite for a housemother/graduate assistant, study spaces on each floor, a dedicat- ed chapter room big enough for our 100-plus members, a spacious first-floor dining hall and kitchen, and a heritage room to honor our his- tory and alumni. e total occupancy will be 84 to 92 men. We recognize that Alpha Eta would not exist without the loyal support of its alumni. Many enthusiastic brothers have stepped forward and made early personal commitments nearing $3 million to this vital project. While this is a great beginning, we need your help to reach our $4.5 million goal. In the coming weeks, you will receive additional information detailing the project and ways you can help. We hope you will join our growing list of supporters who wish to ensure the lasting im- pact of the Lambda Chi Alpha brotherhood on the lives of undergraduate men at Oklahoma State University. Alumni who came before us provided the opportunity to join LCA, to live in the Chapter House, and to develop the endur- ing friendships we enjoy.
