ur investment in the future of Lambda Chi Alpha will ensure
the success of Alpha Eta for our second century. College fra-
ternities still play a critical role in the lives of young men at
Oklahoma State. Today, perhaps more than ever, it is important that
we provide young college men with a values-oriented, group living en-
vironment that offers them a solid foundation for their education and
also affords them opportunities for high academic achievement and
the development of leadership and social skills.
Our undergraduate brothers have already made a commitment to
work hard in continuing the programs and traditions that have benefit-
ed the lives of so many Lambda Chis over the years. Together with our
undergraduates, the volunteer leadership of the Alpha Eta Zeta alumni
board and the campaign executive board is committed to this major
undertaking that will allow us to build our new chapter house, which
will solidify Lambda Chi Alpha's position as a top-tier fraternity on
Oklahoma State's campus.
Remember that each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and
sacrifice of those who went before us. We all enjoyed the home and
brotherhood that Lambda Chi Alpha provided during our years in
Stillwater. Now it is our turn to step up and support the financial chal-
lenge associated with this project, ensuring that the same valuable ex-
perience we enjoyed is available for others who follow us.
We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. With your gener-
ous support, Alpha Eta will continue to provide an environment that
develops, fosters, and supports outstanding young men with the skills
and confidence to face an ever-changing world. e commitment we
make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a ripple effect on
the lives of future Lambda Chis for years to come.
