"Not for College Days Alone" PI DEUTERON CHAPTER OF PHI GAMMA DELTA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS • FALL 2017 T he Mighty Proud campaign is drawing to a close. We have raised $2,627,435 toward our fundraising goal. Due to the support of numerous Graduate Brothers, parents, and friends, some major reno- vations have been completed and the result is spectacular. No doubt that our renovations have made a huge impact on recruitment and overall morale of the Chapter. This fall they had a very strong recruit- ment. Our Brotherhood is strong; they support each other and encour- age each other to be better men. As we look back over the past four years at the capital campaign, we have been not only impressed but inspired by the tireless work of our House Corporation, campaign board, and advisors. Coupled with that was the dedication and financial support of our Graduate and Un- dergraduate Brothers to secure a sound and safe Fraternity House for members to live in during their college years. Truly, without the loyal support of our members who contributed dollars early on, the renova- tions we've done wouldn't be possible. So, to the 208 of our member- ship that has already contributed or pledged to the capital campaign, we extend a hearty thank-you! Though Major Renovations Complete, Need to Finish Campaign Strong A major accomplishment was achieved over the last couple of years thanks to your contributions. While we surely have a very nice Chap- ter House that allows us to compete at KU, we want to ensure the Chapter maintains its success with the overall facility. We cannot maintain our home if we do not have the finances in place to carry day-to-day operating costs and provide for our active Chapter. Your Support Still Necessary for Remaining Critical Projects Pledges are still needed to cover the entire project cost and to finish our remaining projects. For those of you who have given generously, you have made our success possible. If you are able, please consider extending that pledge another year or making an additional contribu- tion. For those of you who have not given, we appreciate any amount you feel you can give toward this important project. Every dollar counts to help us reach our fundraising goal of $3.5 million. Campaign Ending December 31— Deadline Fast Approaching The campaign is ending December 31, 2017. Time is almost up in helping out with this campaign. We want to remind you that all do- nors pledging at least $2,500 by December 31 will see their names on a prominent plaque displayed in the Chapter House. Remember, we have a five-year pledge program to stretch your gift to its full poten- tial. Many of our Brothers have used this program to make a larger gift. Use the pledge form enclosed to make your pledge today. Your support makes a big difference and we thank you. Please come to the Chapter House this fall to see your dollars at work and to celebrate our success.
