Marin Senior Fair

AgeSongMarin,a lively discussion group serving seniors in Marin for more than 10 years, has moved to sponsorship by MarinLink. Groups are now meeting at various locations throughout Marin County including the Mill Valley Community Center, San Rafael Community Center, the Margaret Todd Senior Center in Novato, Whistlestop in San Rafael, and the Community room at the Northgate Mall. AgeSong group members explore coping with the challenges of change, loss and isolation; re-engaging a er retirement; and the pleasure of making new friends. As we share stories, laugh at our foibles and reflect on our experiences, we discover a sense of community, and new opportunities for connection and joy. Several groups are currently meeting - some for the first time. Others continue their eight-week sessions. e 90-minute weekly-meetings are led by experienced facilitators who are also seniors. e eight sessions fee is $80. Marin Village members receive a 25% discount. Scholarships are available. AgeSong is accepting applicants for groups beginning this fall, and for groups continuing throughout the year.
