Listen to Susan Schneider Williams talk with
scalpel-sharp focus and compassion about the death
of her world-renowned and beloved husband Robin
Williams in August 2014, and it's like being inside
her heart. The 53-year old Tiburon-based landscape
artist is now an ardent advocate of, fund-raiser and
public speaker for, brain disease research. In
particular, research into finding a cure for Lewy body
dementia, the all-too-common killer of a disease
that destroyed comedian Robin Williams.
"Most people don't realize that next to
Alzheimer's, Lewy body is the second most common
form of dementia. There are 1.4 million people
