T he Epsilon Omicron Task Force on Strategic Planning's work is exciting and ongoing! The undergraduates, alumni, and parents on the task force used the ATO Creed as "magnetic north" to shape Epsilon Omicron's more viable future at OSU. Peter Drucker said, "The best way to predict the future is to create it." MISSION OF ALPHA TAU OMEGA FRATERNITY AT OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY To cultivate scholarship, fellowship, and character in men by developing leaders with a heart for service using Christian-based principles and the values embodied in the Creed of Alpha Tau Omega. VISION OF ALPHA TAU OMEGA AT OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY As envisioned by the founders of Alpha Tau Omega, a host university and community inspired by a valued brotherhood, and a state, nation, and world where servant leaders, who have a healthy disregard for the impossible, work for the elevation of humanity. 2017-21 STRATEGIC GOALS, OBJECTIVES, AND ACTION STEPS • Goal 1: Epsilon Omicron will have an exemplary support infrastructure with defined roles and responsibilities involving all stakeholders by 2019. • Goal 2: Epsilon Omicron will academically rank among the top three fraternities at OSU. • Goal 3: Epsilon Omicron will partner with ATO, OSU, LeaderShape, and others to provide a cutting-edge leadership and personal development certification for every undergraduate by 2021. • Goal 4: Epsilon Omicron will have a Chapter House that fosters growth, academic success, and fellowship. • Goal 5: Epsilon Omicron will partner with Oklahoma State University and Stillwater to further shared community service priorities with 100% participation by undergraduate members and each Epsilon Omicron support group by 2021. NEXT STEPS? The landscape at Oklahoma State has changed dramatically over the last 10 years. The University has invested millions of dollars in the housing it provides its students. The number of apartment complexes in Stillwater has increased exponentially. Fraternities were not ready for this shift and were left behind when it came to providing housing that students not only wanted but rather, expected. Epsilon Omicron has taken the initial steps to assess and address our housing needs. We look forward to sharing these findings with all of our alumni in the next 12-18 months. YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!
